Antihelmintic Effect of Squash Seeds (Cucurbita moschata) and Papaya Seeds (Carica papaya) in Gastrointestinal Parasites in Native Chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus).

Abstract Papaya ( Carica papaya ) seeds together with squash Cucurbita moschata was pelleted to be used as dewormer, determine its antihelmintic effects on growing chicken. They were randomly divided into four treatments and replication five birds per treatment assigned using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), a total of eighty native chickens. The were: Treatment A - Control (commercial dewormer) based manufacturers recommendation; B 75% Squash 25% seeds; C 50% D seeds. treated orally at 2.5g the dewormer ratio study. In this study C, shows highly influential in all parasites present chicken but no significant result, also found lower cost.
